Yoghurt Pottle Solution!

The enviro group have finally found a solution to the yogurt pottles going home dirty. There will be a bucket to rinse out your yogurt pottles after that you will take your yogurt pottles home in your school bag and then put them in your bin we should have this up and running with'n the next week.

We are now trying to decide where to move the veggie gardens because where they are now they are not getting as much sun as we hoped for so where trying to figure out where to move the veggie gardens.

  3. It's great seeing students as young as five years old rinsing and putting their yoghurt pottles away in their lunch boxes. This shows parents at home a number of things:

1.) Children can (and should) take responsibility for their own recycling and rubbish. They are effectively learning to do the dishes!
2.) Children are eating their lunch when the empty, rinsed, yoghurt pottle finds its way back home.
3.) Parents may next decide to recycle or reuse the pottle at home, or they may even be encouraged to find a more environmentally-friendly solution and purchase a tupperware (or similar) container for yoghurt as a lunch option.

I wonder if we could consider supporting families to make better choices about lunch packaging?
